Portal Systems
Custom Business Portals & Operational Systems
7th Street Systems builds custom business portals designed around real workflows, real users, and real operational problems.
These systems are not generic dashboards or off-the-shelf templates. They are practical tools built to help businesses manage field work, service requests, route operations, event coordination, reporting, communication, and day-to-day activity from one organized place.
Our goal is simple: make complex operations easier to manage.
Built From Real-World Workflows
The best software starts with understanding how people actually work.
Our portal systems are built around real business needs, including:
- Field technicians using phones and tablets
- Operators managing multiple locations
- Teams tracking service requests and follow-ups
- Event staff coordinating time-sensitive activity
- Businesses needing simple reporting without bloated software
- Owners who need visibility without micromanaging every step
Instead of forcing a business into a rigid software platform, we build systems around the workflow.

The MJM Admin Portal is a custom operational system built for route and service management.
It helps organize service requests, location activity, technician assignments, reporting, and internal workflows in a clean, mobile-friendly interface. The system is designed for real field use, giving operators and technicians access to the information they need without unnecessary clutter.
Key areas include:
- Service request tracking
- Technician workflow management

The goal of the MJM Admin Portal is to reduce friction, improve visibility, and make day-to-day service operations easier to manage. Texas Pinball Festival Tech Day
TPF Tech Day is designed around event coordination and technician-focused workflows. After tech day, the we were available to repair games during the rest of the show. We needed a way to keep track of issue reporting, who was going to fix them, and what was done. It was my first portal design, but it worked flawlessly and gave me insight on how to improve it and our workflow.
For events, the challenge is often communication, organization, and timing. A portal system can help centralize important information, assignments, schedules, updates, and reporting so the team has a clear place to work from.
Potential use cases include:
- Event technician coordination
- Schedule and assignment tracking
- Internal updates
- Staff-facing information
- Event-day reporting
- Mobile access for teams on site
This type of system is especially useful when the work is time-sensitive and the team needs quick access to organized information.
No Quarters Arcade Location Manager
NQA Location Manager is focused on multi-location operations and field coordination.
For businesses managing games, equipment, machines, inventory, or service needs across multiple locations, a custom location management portal can provide a central place to organize activity.
Potential use cases include:
- Multi-location tracking
- Machine or equipment records
- Route planning support
- Location notes
- Service history
- Issue reporting
- Operator dashboards
- Field-friendly access
The goal is to give operators a better way to see what is happening across locations and make informed decisions faster.
Mobile-First Field Use
Many business systems are built for office desktops first.
Our portals are designed with field use in mind.
That means clean screens, simple navigation, practical buttons, and layouts that work well on phones, tablets, and laptops. Whether someone is standing in front of a machine, working an event, checking a route, or reviewing reports from the office, the system should feel clear and dependable.
Mobile-first does not mean mobile-only. It means the system is useful wherever the work happens.
Portal Systems vs. Plugins
7th Street Systems builds both portal systems and WordPress plugins, but they serve different purposes.
Portal Systems
Portal systems are custom or semi-custom operational tools built around a specific business workflow. They are ideal for companies that need a private system for managing people, locations, service activity, reporting, communication, or internal processes.
Portal systems are best for:
- Route businesses
- Service companies
- Event operations
- Multi-location businesses
- Internal admin workflows
- Field teams
- Custom reporting needs
Plugins
Plugins are focused tools designed to add specific functionality to a WordPress site. They are more reusable, productized, and public-facing.
Plugins are best for:
- Website enhancements
- Compliance tools
- Checkout features
- Email delivery improvements
- Customer-facing functionality
- Repeatable business needs
Both are part of the same larger goal: practical software that helps businesses operate better.
Why 7th Street Systems
7th Street Systems is built around a practical philosophy:
Software should make work easier, not create more work.
Our systems focus on:
- Real-world tested workflows
- Clean, simple user experiences
- Mobile-friendly layouts
- Minimal bloat
- Thoughtful defaults
- API-first infrastructure where it makes sense
- Tools that can grow over time
- Business systems that feel dependable
We build with the future in mind, but we do not believe every first version needs to be overcomplicated. A good system should solve the immediate problem well while leaving room to expand when the business is ready.
Built for Operators, Teams, and Growing Businesses
A good portal system can become the operational backbone of a business.
It can help reduce scattered communication, organize daily activity, improve reporting, and give teams one dependable place to work from.
Whether the need is service tracking, event coordination, route management, location reporting, or a custom internal workflow, 7th Street Systems builds practical systems designed for real business use.
